Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026
Short version: you can take every quiz without an account, your answers are scored in your browser, and your results are saved only on your own device. We don't currently use cookies, analytics or ads.
Who we are
Quizzly Bear (“we”, “us”) runs this website. You can contact us about privacy at raymond.zhuang9@gmail.com.
What we collect
Your quiz answers and results
Your answers are processed by code running in your browser. They are not sent to our servers. When you finish a quiz, your result (the result name, your scores on the quiz's scales, your match percentages and the time you finished) is saved in your browser's local storage under the key quizzlybear:results. This lets the site show “You got: …” on quizzes you've taken and your own breakdown when you revisit a result.
Local storage stays on your device. We can't see it, and it isn't shared with anyone. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. If your browser blocks storage (for example in some private modes), quizzes still work; your results just aren't remembered.
Share links
When you share a result, the link can include your scale scores (for example ?d=72.30.55) so the person you send it to can compare. Those numbers are only in the link you choose to share. They don't identify you.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our hosting provider (currently Vercel) processes technical information when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don't use this to build profiles of visitors.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use it only to reply.
Cookies
We don't currently set any cookies.
Planned: analytics and advertising
We may add privacy-friendly analytics (to count visits and see which quizzes are popular) and advertising (to keep the site free) in future. Before we do, we will update this policy to name the providers, explain the cookies or similar technologies they use, link to their privacy policies, and, where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), ask for your consent first. If we use Google advertising, this section will explain how Google uses data when you visit sites that use its services and how to manage ad personalisation.
Children
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to how it's used. Because quiz results live only in your browser, you can view and delete them yourself. For anything else, email raymond.zhuang9@gmail.com.
Changes
We'll update this page when our practices change and change the “last updated” date above.
